Possibly the most photogenic place in all our travels – the salt lake of Uyuni was Number 1 on Megumi’s travel wish list.Almost the last place on our journey, we were lucky enough to time the end of the rainy season which coats the salt lake in a few cm of water. A perfect mirror to the horizon in all directions.

Hi, stunning pictures especially the salt lake reflections – I just love taking pictures with reflections. I would like to know when did you go to Salt Lake in order to take the reflection picture? I understand it will be during the rainy season – Dec to Apr, I am afraid that if I go at the wrong time, i.e. heavy rain season, I may not be able to go to the lake to take these pictures.
